I have two Earth Day challenges for you:
1. Climate Conversation.  We started this challenge yesterday. Once you have your questions, it's time for conversation! Go ahead and have a discussion with the older person that you chose. Be sure to include the questions that you brainstormed. Take notes on what the either the weather, food or transportation (only one!) were like in the past and compare that to now. Your comparison can be in many forms; as a t-chart (then/now), as a then/now drawing, as a graphic of some sort - be creative! How have the changes in our society impacted climate change and/or the environment? I expect that this will take you a few days - it is not due tomorrow. - aim for Friday.

2. In honour of Earth Day I will be starting the Bye Bye Plastic Bag 14 Day Lockdown Climate Challenge. It is posted on the new We The Kind website. I propose that you take on this challenge with me. Now you don't have to do the full fourteen days. Maybe you can try one or two of the challenges or maybe you are going to commit to eco-hero status and go for all fourteen. It's up to you. Let me know in your learning journal what you decide to give a try. For the next two weeks, I'll keep you up to date on how I'm doing.

Library News!
Hello everyone!
