Earth Day 14 Day Climate Lockdown Challenge
Yesterday was day two for me. No food waste.
I did a few things for this challenge.We were going to do some grocery shopping today but, with this challenge in mind, we decided that we have enough food and that we should use what we have before buying new food. For supper, we had big bowls of salad that used up a bunch of fresh veggies that were headed to the compost bin if we hadn't eaten them soon. I am also looking into buying a vermicomposter for our kitchen.

Math and Literacy
Today is a catch- up day. No new assignments.

Field Guide
I have been working hard on formatting and entering your content into the field guide. I am going to be ready to send it to print in the next week or so. Some of you have not yet shared your pages with me. It would be really awesome if every person in our class had a part in the book. Please, please, please - if you haven't already - send me your field guide pages.

Today I chose the song Shiny Happy People by the band REM.

This is a song from when I was a teenager - yes they had music and videos way back then too!

It has always made me smile and have fun and dance. Enjoy! Have a dance party at home!

Perhaps it will be more inspiration for your dance project.

They did a version on Sesame Street - it is awesome!
