Mindfulness
This morning we had a brainstorming session on ways we can take a minute to be mindful.
Journaling, dancing, listening to music, stress ball, deep breathing, visualization, take a walk by yourself, cleaning something, reading, drawing, colouring, doing a puzzle... many, many more!
During your wake up to wellness time each morning (or in the evening if you wish) I would like you choose one thing to try. In your learning journal tell me what you did and how you felt after. For example:
Feb. 3rd Mindfulness - Today I coloured for 15 mins. After I finished I felt more relaxed and able to make a plan to complete my to do list for the day.
Science - Body Systems Survivor!
Challenge! To convince the class that your particular body system should not be voted off the island- that your body system is absolutely indispensable. You will have 5 minutes to convince the class and then we will vote...
Tomorrow I will put you and your partner in a breakout room in order for you to plan your presentation to the class. Come to class prepared with your research so you can collaborate with your partner.
