QR code Trail Guide
I have had nothing but positive comments from the many classes who are going our tot the trails and using our QR codes to learn about the forest. Awesome work!
Paper Glider Challenge is tomorrow!
There will be no class time given tomorrow. Please make sure you come with a glider for your group and a complete scale drawing of the front, side, and top views of the glider. This is the assessment piece and so each individual needs to submit their own set of scale drawings.

Inclement Weather
You should have received an email from the board explaining that if an inclement weather day is declared by the board, all students are to stay home. Please check the blog for what we will be working on for the day. I will post by the start of the school day (8:30). I will be available on google chat during regular class time for any questions.
Joy Project Gift Exchange
Please remember - if you are participating in the generosity gift exchange you need to bring your gift by Friday. The maximum is $10 and please make sure the gift is wrapped in some way and clearly marked as to who it is for.

Green New Deal
Today we talked further on ways we can display our data for this project. Consider doing an infographic as a step away from (or as part of ) the traditional bar and line graphs we have done for many years.

Today we started building our data vocabulary. Please make sure you have a vocabulary list - with definitions - that includes; categorical, numerical, nominal, ordinal, discrete, continuous.
Green New Deal
Also connected to math - we are at the data collection stage of this project. We spent a great deal of time over the last two days generating ideas on what data we can look for in our Green New Deal project. Now we need to actively search for data connected to the systems and subsystems we are focusing on. This is not an easy task - you will be compiling data and information from several resources.

We are approaching some major figures on both the Canada side and the United States side. Abraham Lincoln and John A. Macdonald. What can you tell me about these two men?

Green New Deal
Now that we have taken a good look at Milky Chance as a case study, we are ready to really dig into our own green new deal. You can begin creating your system diagram and begin your research for raw data.

"Money over morals." we have talked about this quite a bit. Please explain what we mean by money over morals giving concrete examples from history and also from the present (both Canada and the US). This is due Monday.
