The Bridge Home / Trupp
Continue to think about what the words Home and Homeless mean to you.
Add to your reading journal.
Another beautiful day in the forest.
We did a great job at our first solo sits.
Now that our mapping of the spray painted trees is complete we have an idea of the gaps that will be in our beautiful forest. What can we do about this?
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

If you were a Member of Parliament for the Green Party and you really wanted to push through legislation (get your idea approved ) what party (or parties) would you approach to support your vote? Please explain using fractions, decimals and percentages.

This morning we used 'holey arrows' to discover the power of "we need to" in the place of "you need to". Think about this - how can we apply it to other parts of our lives?
We finished Extraordinary Birds. Please wow me with your final assignment on Tuesday.
A beautiful afternoon with our buddies.
You showed collaboration, initiative and self regulation.
Awesome.
I wish you all an amazing and wonderful weekend.
I am definitely thankful that you are all in my class.

Extraordinary Birds
Please begin planning and working on your final assignments for this book.
"Over the course of the book Extraordinary Birds, how does December's sense of 'belonging' and 'home' change? Please answer this with pictures/graphics and words."
Those who submitted their letters for feedback had them returned today. The final copy is due on Wednesday.
Science project is due tomorrow.
I took advantage of the sunshine and warmer weather and released all of our butterflies over the weekend. I fed them, warmed them and then off they went! Safe travels friends.

We are continuing to work on building a strong team and learning community in our class.
Today we tried the "Bull Ring" activity.
We had a lot of good communication but we also learned that we have some work to do!
Please think abut how you can contribute in a positive way to our community.
How can you make things easier for those that you work with?
How did this activity teach us about humility?
We also had three more butterflies eclose today.
Safe travels to Michael, Wilson, and Sundancer.

We looked at a reading today about the Seven Sacred (Grandfather) Teachings. In your reading journal, talk about which of the teachings do you feel you are very strong at and which do you feel you are still developing. Remember - when we are responding to reading, support your ideas with ideas from the text you are reading.
